Poppin Sparkling Wine

It's official, I have been in Edinburgh for a month. Time seems to constantly be in flux, I feel like I arrived yesterday but have been here my entire life. This city feels like home, it's incredible. Yesterday, which actually marked the anniversary of my arrival, I did none of the things I was supposed to do nor did I do anything of any significance. What I did served as a perfect microcosm for my experience so far. My day started with a skeleton of a plan which gradually evolved into a long journeys filled with good company, unplanned spending, amounting to a genuinely good time. While the grand adventures have been brilliant and absolutely unforgettable there are nights when we do nothing but murder minutes and the memories I collect from those are just as extraordinary. Sometimes I worry about wasting time, but it's the nights spent laughing at Scottish Snuggies and running around ASDA after midnight that make this bizarre scenario so much more than an adventure. It's a life. I occasionally feel like I should be moving so much faster but I know that the movie nights and games of Frisbee, while not always remarkable, are just as memorable and I wouldn't trade them for all the time in the galaxy.
I'm embarrassingly behind on my blogging. Since the events of my last post I have been to the Highlands, Loch Ness, Glencoe, Stirling (again!), the Wallace Monument, Calton Hill, and the list goes on. I'm also making skeletons of plans that may or may not take me out of Scotland and into mysteries that lie beyond. So sit tight, fasten your seat belts, and prepare to be amazed as we continue this journey through time and space.

If you were are just joining us I've been offering up pleasant little ditties to go along with my current life. Enjoy, or don't, do whatever you want I really have no authority here. http://www.thisismyjam.com/combsoftheyard
